I suspect the failure could be a side effect of rust-lang/cc-rs@0e51f6d . I'd suggest going with 1.0.77 for now, which only contains the wanted fix and the addition of the |

@glandium is there an issue for the 1.0.78 breakage? I'd guess this is essentially caused by mixing llvm and msvc tools somewhere along the line? |

I didn't open an issue because it's not clear what's fault it is, and it's also not a problem unless you actively change the rustc tree. I figured the next person who upgrades cc will end up figuring it out. |
