Inspired by rust-lang#15138 , this eliminates the last three instances. Also rephrase a comment that implied the use of "did you mean" suggestions.

eliminates the last three instances.
Also rephrase a comment that implied the use of "did you mean"
suggestions. Fix an adjacent typo in that comment as well.
