This new algorithm isn't supported by the books I previously used as we are now using extremely accurate position data coming from ephemerides.

This enables to compute very accurate times.

There are a few downsides however:

  • it is quite expensive
  • the code still needs refinements to be readable

This class will ultimately replace Astronoby::Events::ObservationEvents.
