When Codex hits a subscription usage limit, OpenClaw used to render whatever reset hint was already attached to the failing run. In the rate-limit path that often meant Discord got a vague line saying Codex did not return a reset time, even when Codex itself knew the subscription reset through its account/rateLimits/read app-server API.
This changes the Codex harness error path so usage-limit failures refresh the native Codex rate-limit snapshot before formatting channel text. If that structured read has reset data, Discord, Telegram, and other channels get the reset time. If Codex cannot provide structured reset data, OpenClaw still preserves Codex's own retry hint from the original error instead of replacing it with a worse generic sentence.
The parser also accepts the snake_case shape Codex returns over app-server, so OpenClaw's
/codex accountand error formatting share the same native source instead of guessing from provider-side API-key semantics.Real behavior proof
