Summary

  • fix the provider catalog contract to mirror real provider ownership instead of treating every bundled plugin as an owner
  • hoist the ../providers.js mocks so the catalog contract stays stable inside the full src/plugins/contracts suite
  • re-import provider-runtime.js per test to avoid stale hook-module state across contract files

Provenance

  • this contract drift came from earlier catalog-contract refactors, especially 750ce393bc (Plugins: stabilize global catalog contracts), 0a93e22b37 (Plugins: fix catalog contract mocks), 6c866b8543 (Tests: centralize contract coverage follow-ups), and the later assertion-sharing refactor in 5747700b3c (refactor(provider-tests): share codex catalog assertions)
  • the runtime behavior was still correct; the failure was in the contract test harness, which mocked provider ownership too broadly and relied on non-hoisted module mocks plus a one-time top-level import of provider-runtime.js
  • that made the file pass in isolation but fail under the full src/plugins/contracts suite when runtime/mock state leaked across files

Testing

  • pnpm test -- src/plugins/contracts/catalog.contract.test.ts
  • pnpm test -- src/plugins/contracts
  • pnpm test:contracts
  • pnpm check

Greptile Summary

This PR fixes two test correctness issues in the provider catalog contract suite: incorrect provider ownership mapping and stale module state across test files.

Key changes:

  • registry.ts — Adds resolveProviderContractPluginIdsForProvider(providerId) which returns only the plugin IDs that actually register a given provider (or undefined if none). This correctly models real ownership rather than attributing every bundled plugin as an owner of every provider.

  • catalog.contract.test.ts — Promotes the three providers.js mock instances to vi.hoisted() so they are stable and type-safe across the full src/plugins/contracts suite. The provider-runtime.js module is now re-imported dynamically inside beforeEach after a vi.resetModules() call, preventing stale module hook state from leaking across contract test files. The resolveOwningPluginIdsForProvider mock is updated to delegate to resolveProviderContractPluginIdsForProvider (per-provider lookup) instead of the old approach of returning providerContractPluginIds (all plugin IDs globally), which was the root cause of the catalog contract mismatch.

No production code paths are altered; all changes are confined to test infrastructure and a test-support utility function in registry.ts.

Confidence Score: 5/5

  • This PR is safe to merge — all changes are confined to test infrastructure with no production code paths affected.
  • Both files only touch test setup and a new test-support utility. The resolveProviderContractPluginIdsForProvider function in registry.ts follows the exact same deduplication pattern as existing helpers in that file. The test refactor correctly uses vi.hoisted() + vi.resetModules() + dynamic import, which is the idiomatic Vitest pattern for isolating modules with side-effectful caches across test files. No regressions to production behaviour are possible.
  • No files require special attention.

P2 Badge Normalize provider IDs before contract lookup

resolveProviderContractPluginIdsForProvider matches entry.provider.id === providerId directly, but the production resolver (resolveOwningPluginIdsForProvider in src/plugins/providers.ts) normalizes aliases and case first (for example qwen -> qwen-portal, kimi-coding -> kimi). This means contract tests that pass a non-canonical provider ID will incorrectly take the “no owner plugin” path in tests while production would resolve an owner, so alias-handling regressions can be missed.

Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.

Add dedicated docs page for the pluggable context engine system:

- ContextEngine interface reference table
- ownsCompaction semantics
- Subagent lifecycle hooks (prepareSubagentSpawn, onSubagentEnded)

- Configuration reference and tips

* tests: add missing useNoBundledPlugins() to bundle MCP loader test

The "treats bundle MCP as a supported bundle surface" test was missing
the useNoBundledPlugins() call present in all surrounding bundle plugin
tests. Without it, loadOpenClawPlugins() scanned and loaded the full
real bundled plugins directory on every call (with cache:false), causing
excessive memory pressure and an OOM crash on Linux CI, which manifested
as the test timing out at 120s.

* fix(telegram): persist sticky IPv4 fallback across polling restarts (fixes openclaw#48177)

Hoist resolveTelegramTransport() out of createTelegramBot() so the
transport (and its sticky IPv4 fallback state) persists across polling
restarts. Previously, each polling restart created a new transport with
stickyIpv4FallbackEnabled=false, causing repeated IPv6 timeouts on
hosts with unstable IPv6 connectivity.

Changes:
- bot.ts: accept optional telegramTransport in TelegramBotOptions
- monitor.ts: resolve transport once before polling loop
- polling-session.ts: pass transport through to bot creation

AI-assisted (Claude Sonnet 4). Tested: tsc --noEmit clean.

* chore: inject GOG_KEYRING_PASSWORD for non-interactive gog auth

The gog CLI uses a file-based keyring to store Google OAuth tokens.
In Docker/headless environments, the keyring prompts for a passphrase
interactively, which blocks the agent from running gog autonomously.

Setting GOG_KEYRING_PASSWORD as an environment variable allows gog to
unlock the keyring without user interaction, enabling the agent to
execute Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and other Google Workspace commands
directly via the gog skill.

Setup steps to enable the gog skill in Docker:
1. Build the custom image: docker build -f Dockerfile.gog -t openclaw:gog .
2. Set OPENCLAW_IMAGE=openclaw:gog in .env
3. Set GOG_KEYRING_PASSWORD= in .env (empty = no passphrase)
