Pull request isn't brought up to date when checked out again

- Extension version: 0.12.0

1. Check out a PR
2. Switch back to a different branch
3. Additional commits are pushed to the PR
4. Use 'Checkout' button on this PR again

The checkout process should do a pull to bring it up to date, but seems to be skipping this
