Problem Statement

When umarshalling a secret, sometimes it isn't clear that the spec expects JSON input as stated in the issue.

Related Issue

Fixes #4991

Proposed Changes

Pretty straightforward just adding to or from JSON to the error message for marhsalling and unmarhsalling respectiveely

Format

was wondering if feat was really the right classification here, but couldn't reaally think of what else would apply. I guess it's a feat because it's improving the user experience but not really a new feature or a new piece of functionality, maybe chore or clean was more fitting
