Notifications & feedback

Feedback is vital to any gamified system. It helps user keep track of how they are progressing, how they are “doing” within the system.
It consists of a set of elements to keep the participant informed, on an ongoing basis, to increase their perception of knowledge and control: diluted progress bars, mailings, push messages, notifications, etc.

Badges are used to reward certain actions. It's a graphical way of showing progress. Promotes the creation of an identity and reputation within the platform. It also provides feedback on the actions committed. The Badges section must be viewable on the user's profile page.

(Almost) each badge has several levels. Levels are a way to show the participant her progress on the platform and her status. They could also be a way to unlock content / functionality within the system (TBD).
