Categories and User badges

There are 4 categories defined according to the type of interaction with the platform (Promotion, Creation, Participation and Diffusion). Within each category several badges are available.

Badges are used to reward certain actions. It's a graphical way of showing progress. Promotes the creation of an identity and reputation within the platform. It also provides a sense of progress and feedback on the actions committed. The Badges section must be viewable on the user's profile page.
(Almost) each badge has different levels. Levels are a way to show the participant her progress on the platform and her status. They could also be a way to unlock content / functionality within the system (TBD).

Category: Promotion

• Badge "Invitations": badge for having invited a certain number of users and these are registered on the platform.

  • Level 1: The participant sent 1 invitations
  • Level 2: The participant sent 5 invitations
  • Level 3: The participant sent 10 invitations
  • Level 4: The participant sent 20 invitations
  • Level 5: The participant sent 50 invitations

• Badge "Metadecidim": badge for registration to Metadecidim

Category: Creation

• Badge "Proposals": badge for having created a certain number of proposals.

  • Level 1: The participant created 1 proposals
  • Level 2: The participant created 5 proposals
  • Level 3: The participant created 10 proposals
  • Level 4: The participant created 30 proposals
  • Level 5: The participant created 60 proposals

• Badge "Accepted proposals": badge for having created a certain number of proposals that are later accepted

  • Level 1: The participant created 1 proposals that has been accepted
  • Level 2: The participant created 5 proposals that has been accepted
  • Level 3: The participant created 15 proposals that has been accepted
  • Level 4: The participant created 30 proposals that has been accepted
  • Level 5: The participant created 50 proposals that has been accepted

• Badge "Initiatives": badge for having created a certain number of initiatives

  • Level 1: The participant created 1 initiatives
  • Level 2: The participant created 5 initiatives
  • Level 3: The participant created 15 initiatives
  • Level 4: The participant created 30 initiatives
  • Level 5: The participant created 50 initiatives

Category: Participation

• Badge "Tutorial completed": badge for having finished the in-game tutorial (TBD)

• Badge "Continuity": badge for having entered the platform a certain number of times

  • Level 1: The participant entered the platform 8 or more times during 30 days
  • Level 2: The participant entered the platform 20 or more times during 60 days
  • Level 3: The participant entered the platform 8 times a month for at least 3 months
  • Level 4: The participant entered the platform 8 times a month for at least 6 months
  • Level 5: The participant entered the platform 8 times a month for at least 12 months

• Badge "Supports": badge for giving a certain number of supports

  • Level 1: The participant voted for 5 different proposals
  • Level 2: The participant voted for 15 different proposals
  • Level 3: The participant voted for 50 different proposals
  • Level 4: The participant voted for 100 different proposals
  • Level 5: The participant voted for 500 different proposals

• Badge "Meetings": badge for having attended in a certain number of meetings

  • Level 1: The participant attended 1 meeting
  • Level 2: The participant attended 3 meetings
  • Level 3: The participant attended 5 meetings
  • Level 4: The participant attended 10 meetings
  • Level 5: The participant attended 30 meetings

• Badge "Debates": badge for having participated in a number of debates

  • Level 1: The participant left comments in 5 different debates
  • Level 2: The participant left comments in 10 different debates
  • Level 3: The participant left comments in 30 different debates
  • Level 4: The participant left comments in 50 different debates
  • Level 5: The participant left comments in 100 different debates

Category: Diffusion

• Badge "Followers": badge for having reached a certain number of followers within the platform

  • Level 1: The participant has 15 followers
  • Level 2: The participant has 30 followers
  • Level 3: The participant has 60 followers
  • Level 4: The participant has 100 followers
  • Level 5: The participant has 200 followers

• Badge "Diffusion": badge for sharing platform content through social media

  • Level 1: The participant shared 5 times content of the platform on social media
  • Level 2: The participant shared 10 times content of the platform on social media
  • Level 3: The participant shared 20 times content of the platform on social media
  • Level 4: The participant shared 50 times content of the platform on social media
  • Level 5: The participant shared 100 times content of the platform on social media
