Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is.
All window closing events are blocked, cause memory leaks when closing multiple windows

Describe the solution you'd like
Repair the judgment logic when the window is closed

UI/UX changes for Desktop Application
If this PR introduces UI/UX changes, please describe them in detail.
none

Platform Compatibility Notes
If this PR has specific platform compatibility considerations (Windows, macOS, Linux), please describe them here.

  • Are there any platform-specific behaviors or code adjustments? Yes, remove macOS proprietary logic
  • Have you tested on all relevant platforms? No, only windows

Additional context
The main window is locked as the first opened window, when the user open multiple windows and then close them all, and then restored one, the position may be inconsistent with the expected position.

Walkthrough

A new private property mainWindowId is introduced in the WindowPresenter class to track the ID of the main window. The logic for handling window close events is refactored: now, only the main window checks the getCloseToQuit() configuration to determine whether to hide or close, removing previous platform and window count checks.

Changes

Cohort / File(s) Change Summary
WindowPresenter Refactor
src/main/presenter/windowPresenter/index.ts
Added private mainWindowId property; refactored window close event logic to use main window ID and configuration only; removed platform and window-count checks; updated related comments and logs.

Poem

A window’s fate, once tangled tight,
Now follows ID, not platform’s might.
The main one hides if told to stay,
While others simply close away.
With logic clean and code anew,
The windows know just what to do!

653-701: Consider resetting or reassigning mainWindowId when the main window is destroyed

Currently, mainWindowId is set only once—when the very first window is created—and never cleared or reassigned. If the main window is closed/destroyed while other windows remain open, mainWindowId will point to a nonexistent window, causing your close/hide logic (which checks against mainWindowId) to misfire.

• Location:
src/main/presenter/windowPresenter/index.ts
– Window creation (around lines where if (this.mainWindowId == null) { … })
– Close event handler (lines 653–701)

• Proposed fix:

  1. Add a 'closed' listener for each window that:
    • Checks if the closed windowId equals this.mainWindowId.
    • If so, picks a new main window (e.g., the next key in this.windows) or sets mainWindowId = null if none remain.
    • Removes the entry from this.windows.
  2. Example snippet to insert after your 'close' handler:
   // After your shellWindow.on('close', …) block
   shellWindow.on('closed', () => {
- // Remove window from map
-    this.windows.delete(windowId)
+ // Reassign or clear mainWindowId if needed
+    if (windowId === this.mainWindowId) {
+      const remaining = Array.from(this.windows.keys()).filter(id => id !== windowId)
+      this.mainWindowId = remaining.length > 0 ? remaining[0] : null
+    }
+    this.windows.delete(windowId)
   })

This ensures that your “main window” reference stays valid throughout the app lifecycle.

661-696: Suggest adding debug logging for troubleshooting

Consider enhancing the logging to include more context about the decision-making process, which will help with future debugging of window management issues.

 const shouldQuitOnClose = this.configPresenter.getCloseToQuit()
 const shouldPreventDefault = windowId === this.mainWindowId && !shouldQuitOnClose
+console.log(`Window ${windowId} close logic: mainWindowId=${this.mainWindowId}, shouldQuitOnClose=${shouldQuitOnClose}, shouldPreventDefault=${shouldPreventDefault}`)

29-30: LGTM: Well-documented main window ID property

The new private property mainWindowId properly tracks the main window's ID with clear documentation and appropriate null initialization.

661-666: Critical logic simplification addresses the memory leak issue

The refactored close event logic correctly addresses the PR objectives by:

  1. Removing complex platform-specific checks that were causing memory leaks
  2. Simplifying to only check if the closing window is the main window
  3. Using getCloseToQuit() configuration to determine hide vs close behavior

This change should resolve the inconsistent window positioning issue mentioned in the PR objectives.
