Redesign the summary template to produce structured, machine-parseable action logs instead of prose narrative. Key changes: - 'Progress > Done' replaced with 'Completed Actions' — numbered list with format: N. ACTION target — outcome [tool: name] - New 'Active State' section tracks working dir, branch, modified files, test status — the model's working context at a glance - 'Relevant Files' merged into Active State (eliminates redundancy) - 'Tools & Patterns' merged into the action list [tool: name] tags - Concrete format examples in the prompt teach the summarizer exactly what output is expected - Iterative update prompt says 'continue numbering' and 'update Active State' instead of the generic 'add new progress' The format matters as much as the content — structured, role-annotated summaries are significantly easier for the model to parse and act on than prose descriptions of the same information.

Why
The format of compressed context matters as much as the content. Structured, role-annotated output with numbered steps and [tool: name] tags is significantly easier for the model to parse and act on than prose descriptions of the same information.
