Brief summary of issue / Description of requested feature:

Current Lua tests are only run on Ubuntu - which means that issues such as #6668 aren't getting detected by Lua tests.

Steps to reproduce the issue / Reasons for adding feature:

1. Less chance of undetected breakage sneaking through on macOS
2. Testing that LuaGlobal always loads OK on macOS

Same tests that are run on Ubuntu will run on macOS as well
