Add the following autosave actions to your database:

@Comment{jabref-meta: databaseType:biblatex;}

@Comment{jabref-meta: saveActions:enabled;
date[normalize_date]
pages[normalize_page_numbers]
all-text-fields[latex_to_unicode]
title[html_to_unicode]
;}

search for something and press ctrl+space to open autocomplete popup. Enter sth like \emph{dictionary} in the title field and press save.
No errros.

Noted this in #4616

  • Change in CHANGELOG.md described
  • Tests created for changes
  • Manually tested changed features in running JabRef
  • Screenshots added in PR description (for bigger UI changes)
  • Ensured that the git commit message is a good one
  • Check documentation status (Issue created for outdated help page at help.jabref.org?)
