
GHBA's Annual Scholarship Program
GHBA's Scholarship Program provides assistance to members' children in pursuing a college degree, and to participants in official GHBA Workforce Partner Programs.
These scholarships are made possible through the donations of generous association members. All funds donated go directly to student scholarships.

All contributors will be recognized in Houston Builder magazine. Contributors of $4,000 or more will have one scholarship presented in your honor, named for you and/or your company.

ELIGIBILITY:
Be a high school senior or college student
College-bound high school seniors and students enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, or vocational tech schools in the U.S. are eligible to apply.
Be the child of a GHBA member OR enrolled in a GHBA Workforce Partner Program
A "member" includes any employee of a GHBA member company. Participants in official GHBA Workforce Partner Programs are also encouraged to apply.
Get three references
Must be of good character (three written references are required).
Apply on time
Applicants may not receive a GHBA Scholarship two years in a row. Applicants are only eligible to receive the GHBA scholarship twice during their college career. Application, official transcripts, proof of enrollment, and three references, due by March 27, 2026.
