GeneMapper is a software application for analyzing capillary electrophoresis fragment data in genotyping and fragment analysis workflows. It imports electropherogram files from genetic analyzers, performs size calling with internal standards, detects peaks, and assigns alleles using user-defined panels and bins. The software provides interactive trace visualization, quality control flags, stutter and peak filters, and batch processing to streamline routine STR/microsatellite and other fragment-based assays. Results can be reviewed, edited, and exported to common formats for reporting or downstream analysis.
GeneMapper is developed by Applied Biosystems. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 3.7, 4.0 and 4.1. The names of program executable files are GeneMapper.exe, GeneMapper_5.exe.
