GDevCon Spin-Offs
At the end of 2017, we set out to create a series of events that are all about world-class graphical programming, organised by the community for the community. From the very beginning, we were planning to cater to the global LabVIEW community and host these events in different locations all over Europe and eventually world-wide.
Nine years later, we are happy to say that the community has taken off and like-minded #LabVIEWfriends have started to put in the effort (which is enormous, nobody knows better than us) to offer similar events in other parts of the world, affiliated to but independent from our original GDevCon Alliance.
GDevCon NA
North Americas premier graphical developers conference is taking place in Chicago this July.
“We used to have an NI sponsored CLD summit and NI Days in Denver every year. NI has decided they are no longer going to host those types of events (in Denver or elsewhere). We have an active user group in Denver and we decided we wanted to replace the CLD Summit. Several of us were impressed by what GDevCon had done over in Europe, so we reached out to them. After some discussion, we decided to do something similar over here.”
“We want to provide a independent space for the community to get together and share ideas on how we can all be better at our craft. We want to provide a space for the types of presentations that might not make the cut at an NI sponsored event. Instead of focusing on individual skills we would like to focus on team development. GDevCon ANZ
The inaugural GDevCon ANZ took place in Sydney on 24 & 25 October 2023 after being inspired by the original GDevCon and GDevCon North America.
“GDevCon ANZ Inc is a non-profit organisation committed to hosting a world-class graphical programming conference for the Australian and New Zealand LabVIEW community. GDevCon ANZ started in 2023, hosting the inaugural conference in Sydney in October 2023. GDevCon ANZ Inc is inspired by those paving the way before us: GDevCon in UK/Europe and GDevCon NA. Witnessing the success, energy, and amazing content these conferences have created in such a short amount of time became the impetus to create GDevCon ANZ Inc. Given the high price of flights post-COVID, this was also a huge reason to create an event in this part of the world.”
GDevCon LATAM
GDevCon is a graphical programming (G=LabVIEW) conference, organized by the community for the community. It helps LabVIEW developers learn and grow professionally by building connections, offering ongoing learning, and promoting team development. is an independent, community-driven event that focuses on real-world problems and solutions. People of all skill levels and backgrounds are invited to attend.

GDevCon Asia
GDevCon Asia is the newest member of the global GDevCon family – an independent, community‑driven conference created by graphical programmers for graphical programmers across Asia.
Inspired by the success and energy of the original GDevCon in Europe and its sister events in North America and ANZ, the Asia team set out to build a regional space where LabVIEW developers can connect, share real‑world experience, and grow together. Born from the enthusiasm of local #LabVIEWfriends who wanted to bring world‑class content closer to home, GDevCon Asia continues the core mission of fostering open knowledge‑sharing, diverse voices, and practical, team‑focused development across the global community.
They have their first event in April 2026.
