We’ve just marked the Solar Horse Year’s start on February 4, 2026. This is a little known part of the Chinese New Year, observed by Feng Shui masters and practitioners. In the Chinese zodiac 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse. The Chinese Lunar New Year begins February 17, 2026, and starts the 15-day Spring Festival that concludes with the Lantern Festival. The Chinese zodiac rotates through a 12-year cycle of animals and the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.

The 2026 Lantern Festival, marking the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations for the Year of the Fire Horse, will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. This event concludes the 15-day celebration that begins with the Lunar New Year on February 17, 2026.
