Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Global Alliance for the Future of Food is not a grantmaking organization. We work with  our member foundations and partners toward shared strategy, collaboration, and impact on food systems issues at the local, regional, and global levels.

Apart from our members, we work in partnership with many NGOs and farmers’ organizations around the world and welcome you to join our newsletter to learn more about our work.

  • The Global Alliance consists of a small, remote team. We do not have an internship programme. We advertise all vacancies—whether new job openings, requests for proposals, or internships—on our vacancies page and our social media channels.

  • The Global Alliance membership is not open to individuals or non-profits for membership. Our membership consists of philanthropic foundations that have an interest in sustainable agriculture and food systems transformation, a commitment to being part of a strategic network, and an ability to support the Global Alliance with human, financial, and strategic resources.

  • We value the contributions of writers and researchers who are passionate about food systems transformation. While we do not accept unsolicited guest content at this time, we encourage you to engage with our work by subscribing to our newsletter, attending our events, and exploring collaboration opportunities through our member organizations.
