Slug’d
So this one is a little technique that I’ve developed myself, which I won’t divulge all the secret formula to, but it’s a bit of HDR / Lucis / Orton / Fractalius and maybe a few other things to boot. Essentially it still gives an HDR feel, but also blends in a smidge of extra contrast and pulls out a bit of additional texture.

Man, what an awesome collection of images. This slug’d look you have developed has quite a unique look.

Thanks Tony.. Sometimes it works well and sometimes not so.. Depends on the image.. Stonework is an area where it works best.

LOL.. You’re right, I have NO idea… I have to admit it’s a process that I’ve really tamed down since posting these, but it still comes in very useful for adding a smidge of contrast and boosting a bland(ish) grey sky…
