In the most recent poll, out of 64 members, only 18 voted. There just isn't enough interest to continue the comm., even though the majority response from members who did vote was that they'd been busy over the holidays and would now be ready to participate.

I'm glad we got the chance to wind the comm down properly and I hope you all enjoyed it while it lasted. I've valued the chance to try my hand at moderating and have learnt such a lot in the short space of time doing so. Thank you to all of you for your patience with my learning curve, and to everyone who participated in the challenges.

Special thanks should go to the team mods, wildalyss, vanima_luhta, outoftime, noctems, kissingdaylight, and juliet42 .Also, to killmotion for starting this comm in the first place.

If anyone wants to make banners for surviving/having fun at/winning at Fullerverse, please feel free to post them as comments to this post. I know some of you (me included) like to add them to your profile.

I'm having some issues with BAM video vault - not only did it let me set up an account but not then allow me to sign back into it, when I logged back into my home pc I managed to completely mess up another account that I was logged into at that time. (note to self: always remember to log out of sites when I'm finished with them!)
What I need is for someone else to volunteer to set up a free email account and use that to sign up to BAM with an easy to remember password. We can then use that for everyone to submit their videos to.

Also, thinking ahead to January, would anyone be interested in making some banners? One per team and a multi-show one saying something like "I survived Fullerverse Round 1". And, once we have a winner, a winning team banner?

CHALLENGE 12 As I haven't been at my pc much this weekend and won't be around as much this week to answer questions the closing date for the trivia questions and scavenger hunt items you want to submit will now be FRIDAY 11th December at 7pm GMT

VOTING on the wallpaper will close tomorrow (Monday 7th) at 11pm GMT

PICSPAM entries are due by midnight on Tuesday 8th and we've only had one (really excellent) entry. No voting but participation points are up for grabs.

VIDDING CHALLENGE is due Sunday 27th December midnight your time; I'm not going to be mean about timing over the holiday season. Make a video between 2 and 5 minutes in length; Must be Fullerverse related but the theme is up to you; 50 points for participation; Details on where to upload will be finalised later (I will probably have to set up a BAM account we can all access). The preference is for voting on the entries so if we get at least two, we'll have a poll as per the wallpaper voting.

What is whedonland about?
It's an interactive community, with a sense of competition. You will be placed in one of the four teams, each corresponding to a Joss whedon show. You will compete against the other teams and will win the apocalypse by having the most points when the end of the apocalypse is announced (an apocalypse runs for three months).
