Services

The library is known for providing books and other materials for checkout, but here are some other things that you may not know that we do:
  • Reference assistance from helpful librarians
  • Computers available for students on the first floor
  • Faculty Reserves - Check out materials placed on reserve by your professors at the Circulation Desk.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL) - If we don't have what you are looking for, ask about ILL! We might be able to get it from another library!
  • A variety of private areas, group study areas, and collaborative spaces available
  • New materials, leisure reading, and graphic novel displays
  • Ask A Librarian via askalibrarian@friends.edu
  • Free printing for students
  • Over 74,000 print titles searchable in FriendliCat
  • Over 390,000 ebooks searchable in Ebook Central
  • Over 130 databases available through the A-Z Databases list
  • Photocopier and microfilm reader
  • Books & More Curbside service:
    • Browse FriendliCat for the call number of the item
    • Call 316-295-5880 to place your request and schedule pick-up
    • Wait for confirmation
    • Use reserved parking stall at the library back door (south parking lot)
  • Friends University Archives 
  • Hadley Quaker Collection
