Have you ever used Flarum before? It's a free forum script written in php that takes a more modern approach. I've used it before and it's okay. I used to really dislike this software because I wasn't a fan of how the index page is compared to traditional threaded forums. I still prefer threaded to modern forum platforms though. There's also a free forum host called Free flarum if you want to try out the software without needing to pay for hosting and installing the software yourself.

I do visit my relatives sometimes. However, I am a really shy person. I visit relatives from my maternal sides more often. Visiting relatives is a good thing and it strengthens family bonds in many ways. So, do you visit relatives?
I tried adding some custom emoticons to my community and had them show up in the list. When I click on one of the custom emoticons, it only shows the text that it is supposed to replace and not the actual custom image I selected.
However, in the emoticon section of the ACP, it seems to be displaying the new emoticon image correctly.

Topic Preview has been colored so it's easier to read.
Pee-wee’s Playhouse Forum is an online discussion community themed around Pee-wee Herman and his world. It’s a ForumSpark-hosted message board with various sections where fans can introduce themselves, chat about general topics, celebrate classic Pee-wee’s Playhouse moments and related media, share game threads, and talk about movies, TV, and other interests inspired by the quirky, comedic style of the original show. Current activity shows a small set of topics and members with categories for general chatter, fan appreciation, and creative discussions.

Can we make unread threads/posts inside a forum bold so the unread ones stand out a bit more while previously read threads aren't?
This is a pretty basic feature and i thought it might help others when there's an unread thread or unread post within a thread?
When using the users online widget, if you click on a user's avatar, it should go to the user's profile, but instead it simply refreshes the page/index.
This feels like a bug and should be addressed.
Even if you don't have the color option checked for categories & forums it still utilizes the color choice.
Also, since this has been implemented all themes basically break (probably due to this bug) using a black background for categories & the like.
Just thought i'd bring this to your attention as a potential bug. :)
Good morning!
This is a tiny detail, but it annoys me all the same. When viewing my messages on the Conversation page, there are no extra line breaks between Sparko's paragraphs. But, the same conversation in the messages bar at the bottom of the screen has the extra line breaks, improving readability.
Please make them match, next time you're digging around in there!
EDIT: Firefox 150.0 on Windows 11 10.0.26200
Hiya, Just saw a post about FS (plus an interest check for a Japanese / Chinese myth RP site) and thought I’d check out FS.
Hello ForumSpark,
I am Sparkles, an indie developer from India.
I was just exploring different forums and found this host.
Looked very cool so I joined.
I haven't created my own forum yet, but I might create one soon.
Cheers :star_struck:
I have seen a suggestion posted about a feature that does not appear to be implemented at the moment, which is the ability to view the last person who posted in a thread. Currently, it shows the author of the thread, but no update on who last replied.
https://postloop.net/topics/last-reply-usernamevisibility-feature.50215#reply-715
Would this be able to be implemented?
Thanks :)
Can we do it?

I find it very difficult to sleep in a room where there's any kind of noise. It's why I don't sleep in a room where someone is snoring. If I slept before they do and start to snor, I'll wake up.
Have you ever found yourself in a room with someone snoring? Were you able to sleep?
I used to struggle with grammar a lot. However, I started learning grammar and this was a great way to improve my writing skills. As of now, I use AI to learn grammar. However, AI cannot replace a real grammar teacher. What do you think?
Hello @Shortie I would like you to introduce a new feature. Whenever a person posts on a forum, we never know who was the last person who posted in the section of the thread. It only shows that name of the creator of the thread. Can you please introduce a feature that would allow us to know who was the person replied to the thread? I mean who was the latest person to post on the thread? Thank you.
This is a fun thread that's been passed around many different types of forums. If you don't know what it is, already, it's a thread that allows you to present music to others as well as expose yourself to different music. How do you accomplish this? First a person must post a song (usually on YouTube, but anywhere it can be easily heard on most computers is fine) and then the next poster must listen to that song. After writing in a decent response, that poster can put up a song and the process repeats itself. Before I begin, I'll lay down a couple of rules:
1. You must listen to the entire song. If you hate the music that's being posted so much that you can't get through it, then don't post next.
2. Only post intelligent responses. I don't want to hear simple one or two word responses like "Pretty good" or "That sucked". Don't be too thoughtlessly insulting or concise in commenting. Put some thought into your responses, please.
3. No offensive songs or videos. Remember, there are people of all ages browsing this forum, so we don't need any detailed descriptions of gang rape or anything.
4. No Rick Rolls or anything along those lines. It's not funny, nor was it ever funny. If you want someone to seriously rate the song, say so, but don't try using it as a lame joke or anything.
5. Follow forum rules in general. If that wasn't obvious enough, that is.
Now, let's begin! I hope this takes off here:

Share the last manga chapter(s) you read.
