Supporting interoperability, Contact 4.0 provides food processors using Fortress Technology inspection equipment with a means to extract data from different production applications and processes and align to a common reporting structure.
In real-time, Contact 4.0 monitors the performance of equipment, tracks events, and documents all potential product risks. Collating data into meaningful reports with minimal effort, information be viewed and accessed from the browser of most networked devices. Reports can be configured and emailed to production or quality managers. These can be scheduled daily, per shift or weekly.
Data can be stored on the Contact 4.0 device – which is a small box that sits on the same network as the metal detector and/or checkweigher – or optionally on a network location specified by the end user. This enables production and technical managers to view live data relating to rejects, average weights and giveaway.
