Focused Conservation brings together a team of highly experienced technical advisors, mentors, trainers and analysts to provide support and guidance to law enforcement agencies involved in tackling wildlife trafficking.
Led by Wim Brown, a former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent with extensive international law enforcement experience.
With former criminal investigators from agencies such as the DEA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and UK National Crime Agency, the collective skills and experience of the Focused Conservation team is second to none and positions Focused Conservation as a significant player in the fight against wildlife crime.

Rare Pangolin Release After Rescue from Trafficking
Focused Conservation is proud to stand alongside the Nigeria Customs Service and the Nigeria National Park Service in a collaborative effort to safely release seized pangolins back into their natural habitat, specifically within the Cross River National Park.
The release of seized wildlife is more than a conservation success story. It is a reflection of what is possible when governments, conservation organizations, veterinarians, and frontline officers work together with a shared commitment to protecting wildlife and defending the future of these species.
JUSTICE FOR ANTON MZIMBA
A dedicated ranger at Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, was tragically assassinated by a rhino poaching syndicate, highlighting the dangers faced by wildlife protectors. To honor his legacy, Focused Conservation has partnered with South African authorities to strengthen the investigation and bring his killers to justice, with support from Anton’s family and the Timbavati community.
