Nuke Pro Proves Fukushima WAS a Nuclear Explosion

Fukushima WAS a Nuclear Explosion, Here Is The Proof

The only way that the tens of tons of uranium and plutonium shown by US EPA air samples could occur was if the explosion came from within the reactor vessel, and/or spent fuel pool.   So clearly the explosion was a nuclear type of explosion from within.    Nuclear promoters have long stated that nuclear plants can’t blow up in a nuclear explosion.    We know this to be a lie. . . . Fukushima Daiichi FAILS NISA inspection

24 06 2012

June 21, Receipt of an Instruction Document from NISA Concerning Violation of  Safety Regulations in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station
Fukushima Daiichi maintenance system for main facilities (all of them) FAILS Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency inspection.

TEPCO didn’t even produce the mandatory plan.

HERE are the failures:

(1) Water injection system for reactor pressure vessels and primary containment vessels
(2) Function of PCV to prevent a hydrogen explosion
(3) Spent fuel pool
(4) Injection system of boric acid solution for RPV and PCV
(5) Highly concentrated contaminated water decontamination facility, accumulation system (tank), spent sludge storage facility, cesium absorption tower and affiliated facility (transfer pipes transfer pumps)
(6) Buildings in which highly concentrated contaminated water is stored or accumulated
(7) Electrical systems

Tepco halts cooling system at nuclear plant after sparks

(Reuters) – The operator of Japan’s Fukushima Daini nuclear power plant, located near the tsunami-crippled Daiichi plant, on Thursday halted the cooling system at one of its reactors after electrical sparks were detected, Kyodo news agency reported.

Tokyo Electric Power , the plant’s operator, expects to be able to restore the cooling system at the Daini plant’s No.1 reactor before the end of Thursday, Kyodo said.

The Daini plant, about 240 km (150 miles) from Tokyo, is located several miles along the Pacific coast from the Daiichi plant . . . . (more)

TEPCO having trouble injecting nitrogen to avoid explosion at Reactor No. 3 — Expert concerned about possible explosion at No. 3

and from –   http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nn20110630a2.html  :

. . . . .  Faced with a looming overflow into the sea of highly radioactive water accumulating in the complex, and high radiation levels in the reactor buildings, the system’s continuous operation is vital for containing the crisis.

Tepco has also made little progress in injecting nitrogen into reactor 3’s containment vessel to prevent an explosion.

Fukushima may be in an apocalyptic downward spiral

Fukushima’s apocalyptic threat demands global action NOW!!

by Harvey Wasserman
Fukushima may be in an apocalyptic downward spiral.

Forget the corporate-induced media coma that says otherwise…or nothing at all. Lethal radiation is spewing unabated. Emission levels could seriously escalate. There is no end in sight. The potential is many times worse than Chernobyl.

Containing this disaster may be beyond the abilities of Tokyo Electric or the Japanese government. There is no reason to incur further unnecessary risk. With all needed resources, it’s time for the world’s best scientists and engineers to take charge. Even then the outcome is unclear.

For a brief but terrifying overview, consult Dr. Chris Busby as interviewed by RT/TV.

Fukushima Units One, Two and Three are all in various stages of melting down.

Molten fuel at Unit One may have burned through its reactor pressure vessel, with water poured in to cool it merely pouring out the bottom.

A growing pond of highly radioactive liquid is softening the ground and draining into the ocean.

There is no way to predict where these molten masses of fuel will yet go.

Especially in the event of an aftershock, steam and hydrogen explosions could blow out what’s left of the containments.

The extra plutonium in the MOX fuel at Unit Three is an added liability.

At least one spent fuel pool has been on fire.

The site has already suffered at least two hydrogen explosions. Some believe a fission explosion may also have occurred.

All have weakened the structures and support systems on site.

These shocks and the soft ground may be why Unit Four has partially sunk and is tipping, possibly on the brink of collapse. Even a relatively minor aftershock could mean catastrophe.

More explosions are possible. More leaks are virtually certain. . . . (more)

NO DOCTORS on Site of Nuclear Meltdown(s) at Fukushima

Worker dies at Fukushima power plant

FUKUSHIMA, Japan, May 14 (UPI) — Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Saturday a worker collapsed and died at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power, which was crippled by a tsunami on March 11. . . .

. . . The power company said the worker was in his 60s. He had collapsed about an hour after he started work at a waste disposal processing facility.

He was wearing protective gear at the time of the incident.

The plant said there was no doctor on site, despite a plan revealed May 4 to have a physician at the plant

“We have asked doctors to come when they can,” a company official said.

Work at the crippled plant centers around efforts to install a new cooling system, Kyodo News reported.

Japan Reactor Flooding Plan Assessed Amid Explosion Concerns (???)

Tokyo Electric Power was attempting to determine the quantity of water needed to flood the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant’s No. 1 reactor, an operation intended to avert potential new radiation releases from the crippled facility, the Asahi Shimbun reported on Sunday (see GSN, April 29).

The six-reactor Fukushima facility was severely damaged by the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and devastating tsunami that hit Japan on March 11; the confirmed death toll from the events and aftershocks has been reported to exceed 14,000 people.

The plant operator for 48 hours last week increased its water insertion rate for the reactor to 10 tons each hour, and the system’s heat by Friday morning had fallen to 113 degrees and its pressure to 1.1 standard atmospheres. Oxygen could seep into the system and potentially cause a new hydrogen blast if the pressure level fell below one standard atmosphere, according to the newspaper.  . . .

Power cut doomed fallout computer

Kyodo

The nation’s system for predicting the volume of radioactive materials to be released into the environment failed amid the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima No. 1 power plant due to the power supply cut following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, sources said Monday.
The Emergency Response Support System is designed to collect data about the state of a plant’s nuclear reactors, such as pressures and temperatures, from remote locations and to analyze the suspected development of a nuclear accident to predict how much radioactive material will be released.

The malfunction of the ERSS, coupled with “insufficiencies” attribued to SPEEDI, the System for Prediction of Environmental Emergency Dose Information, which projects the dispersal of radioactive fallout based on ERSS forecasts, is likely to have delayed the evacuation of Fukushima residents. Japan sent SPEEDI data to the U.N. but withheld it from the public. [!!!!] . . . (on the radiation exposure of kids)

….After 13 factual articles on Fukushima Daiichi at GLG News, this is closest I’ll get to an “Op-Ed” about Toshiso Kosako quitting in protest over Japanese relaxation of schoolchildren dose limits. The reason this news is so troubling is that children are required by law to attend school. If child exposures are forced, this would be first time ever that law, not secrecy, forces high radiation exposures to the second-most vulnerable “cohort,” with the most vulnerable being second-trimester fetus.
