Haarp ring producing tornado vortex – Video

26 05 2011

This is good (short) video of something really crazy – looks like a HAARP event to me!

Vid is from a May 10 event – just before the Alabama tornadoes struck.

“Haarp ring producing tornado vortex over my ostrich farm on the Alabama Gulf Coast out of the clear blue sky.”

US Nuke Plant Update – No Warning Sirens Working at Brown’s Ferry

10 05 2011

ALABAMA –

Nuclear sirens conk out in storm

TVA safely shut down its Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Alabama with emergency backup power this week, but power outages across the Tennessee Valley still left the utility without enough emergency sirens to warn nearby residents of potential safety problems at both Browns Ferry in Alabama and the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant near Soddy-Daisy.

In a notice to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission released Friday, TVA said more than 60 percent of its sirens around Browns Ferry and about a third of its warning sirens around Sequoyah were inoperable this week when electricity service was lost to the sirens following Wednesday’s tornadoes and wind storms.

With so many sirens not working, TVA has had to be prepare plans to use police vehicles with loud- speakers to notify residents living within 10 miles of the plant should a nuclear accident occur. . . (more)

Ala. nuclear plant cited for safety
ATLANTA (AP) – Federal regulators ordered in-depth inspections Tuesday at a nuclear power plant run by the Tennessee Valley Authority in northern Alabama after deciding the failure of an emergency cooling system there could have been a serious safety problem.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a rare red finding against the Browns Ferry nuclear power plant near Athens, Ala., after it investigated how a valve on a residual heat removal system became stuck shut. Safety regulators said only five red findings – the most severe ranking the agency gives to problems uncovered in its inspections – have been issued nationwide in the past decade. . . .

Tornadoes Off the Scale, Media Claims No Climate Connection

28 04 2011

Predictably the unprecedented super-tordado outbreak (still ongoing) gets no scientific analysis on tv or in print media.

Anyone can see volatility in  weather worldwide especially in the last 2 years.

This is from meteorologist Jeff Masters

. . . the tornado total for this week’s outbreak may rival the April 14 – 16 tornado outbreak (155 confirmed tornadoes) as the greatest April tornado outbreak in history. It is unprecedented to have two such massive tornado outbreaks occur so close together, and the April preliminary tornado count of 654 is truly stunning. Even adjusting this number downwards 15% (the typical over-count in preliminary tornado reports) yields a probable April tornado total of 550. This easily crushes the previous April tornado record of 267, set in 1974. An average April has “only” 163 tornadoes, so we are already 300% over average for the month, and may approach 400% after today’s outbreak. . . .

AND the April 27 article goes on with this stunner:

Midwest deluge enhanced by near-record Gulf of Mexico sea surface temperatures

The deluge of rain that caused this flood found its genesis in a flow of warm, humid air coming from the Gulf of Mexico. Sea surface temperatures (SSTs )in the Gulf of Mexico are currently close to 1 °C above average. Only two Aprils since the 1800s (2002 and 1991) have had April SSTs more than 1 °C above average, so current SSTs are among the highest on record. . . .

No carbon effect here. Carry on.
