Most flight schools make you deposit a chunk of money up front, but Hillsboro Aero Academy lets you start training right away and pay for lessons as you go. You’ll be required to pay the balance when you complete each flight lesson and that means you can get creative and work your way through school. International students do have to prove they can pay for training before they apply for a visa, but no one is required to transfer funds before training starts. Unlike programs that require full tuition up front, Hillsboro Aero Academy’s maintenance program allows you to pay for each course as you go. The program is divided into three courses and payment is due the first week of each course. This structure gives students the flexibility to plan ahead and manage their finances throughout the program. Another way to finance your flight school experience is through the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. They offer multiple financing options that are easy, affordable and flexible. They provide a suite of financial aid and outreach services to help Alaskans use education to enhance their careers. Find out more about the flight school financing they offer here.
