You can earn a two or four-year college degree at one of our partner colleges in tandem with your airplane flight training at Hillsboro Aero Academy. We’ve partnered with several colleges and universities to set you up for the career you’ve always dreamt of having. Hillsboro Aero Academy is not a degree-granting institution, but students may be able to get credit at our partner institutions for the flight training they complete at HAA. Admission to HAA’s collegiate partners and awarding of credit is not guaranteed. Portland Community College’s Aviation Science program is a two-year degree available to airplane flight training students. It offers classroom learning at PCC’s Rock Creek campus in the Portland, OR area, with flight training at our Hillsboro, OR campus. PCC’s two-year degree is also a great option for students who are exploring whether to combine a four-year college degree with flight training, because the credits may be transferred to a four-year program down the road. This program is not eligible for VA benefits. Purdue University’s Professional Flight program is a four-year degree available to our airplane flight training students. The program offers flexible online learning from anywhere in combination with flight training at our Hillsboro, OR campus. Students who complete their Professional Pilot ratings with us receive 45 college credits from Purdue Global toward their degree — equivalent to one year of college credits. Our students and their immediate family members also enjoy a 20% tuition discount toward undergraduate degrees. This program is not eligible for VA benefits. Enhance your career prospects and take advantage of more financing options.
