How It Works

For your flight instructor to provide effective remote coaching, two key things need to be shared:

  • Voice communications
  • Your primary simulator screen

Generally, Zoom (free) is used to facilitate sharing both of these with your instructor.

You simply join a Zoom meeting via a link, then press the "Share Screen" button.

Zoom also allows you to optionally record your sessions, which is an excellent way to review and retain the info you learn.

If you use virtual reality (VR) or have a complex sim setup, we have various other methods to ensure your instructor can see everything they need to.

We also provide plugins that allow your instructor to remotely adjust sim parameters like failures and weather.
