Code of Conduct

We value Final Three Con being a place where all people can feel safe, respected, and welcome. We encourage con attendees to act thoughtfully and remember that they are part of a community with their fellow attendees. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. If you feel unsafe or harassed or notice that someone else may feel this way, we encourage you to report it as soon as you can. Beyond reporting, each of us can make a difference in fostering a caring and mindful community: please feel empowered to stand up for your fellow con-goers and say something if you feel that the spirit of our Code of Conduct is being violated.

You can create a report by either submitting one through this reporting form or by contacting any convention team member in a Final Three Con Volunteer shirt. If you are unclear on what constitutes reportable behavior, please see our full harassment policy below.

Everyone who participates in Final Three Con in any capacity, which encompasses behavior and conduct before, during, and after Con in spaces including but not limited to Final Three Con, online spaces, and other in-person events, agrees to abide by this Code of Conduct. Unauthorized Representation & Authority Policy

Purpose & Context

Final Three Con is a community-driven event built on trust, clarity, and accountability. Authority and representation must be clearly defined to protect attendees, partners, exhibitors, stakeholders, and the organizing team. Unauthorized claims of organizer status or authority create confusion, introduce legal and financial risk, and undermine community trust. This policy exists solely to prevent misrepresentation and unauthorized activity and is not intended to limit community participation, enthusiasm, or support.

Exclusive Authority

Only individuals explicitly authorized in writing by Final Three Con may represent, speak for, or act on behalf of the event in any capacity.

Authorized representatives are limited to:

  • Members of the Final Three Con Leadership Team
  • Designated Final Three Con Area Managers (as directed by the Leadership Team)

No other individuals or groups have authority to represent Final Three Con or Final Three, LLC.

Prohibited Conduct

Without express written authorization, no individual or group may:

  • Claim or imply affiliation, authority, or insider status with Final Three Con, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
  • Present themselves as an organizer, staff member, coordinator, partner, or official representative.
  • Impersonate or falsely claim to be part of the Final Three Con Leadership Team, or to act on behalf of the Leadership Team in any capacity.
  • State or imply they are “helping,” “coordinating,” or “working with” the organizing team.
  • Discuss convention planning, logistics, policies, or internal decisions as if they are part of the organizing team.
  • Interpret, enforce, or make decisions regarding Final Three Con rules, policies, safety, or disputes.

Business & Financial Restrictions

No individual or group may, without authorization:

  • Conduct business as, or on behalf of, Final Three Con
  • Communicate or negotiate with venues, hotels, vendors, sponsors, partners, service providers, special guests, or attendees on behalf of Final Three Con or the Leadership Team.
  • Collect, handle, promise, or exchange money, discounts, refunds, or compensation on behalf of Final Three Con or the Leadership Team.
  • Make commitments regarding contracts, scheduling, programming, space, or services

This section does not prohibit individual attendees from reselling their own convention badge at or below the current retail price, provided they do not represent themselves as acting on behalf of Final Three Con or engage in repeated or commercial resale activity.

Volunteers

Volunteers are valued contributors but are not organizers and hold no ongoing authority.

  • Active volunteers may identify themselves as volunteers while at the event, including by wearing official volunteer badges or t-shirts.
  • Volunteer identification does not grant authority beyond assigned volunteer responsibilities.
  • Volunteers may accurately state that they have volunteered at Final Three Con, but may not claim organizer, staff, or leadership status.
  • Volunteer service does not grant ongoing or post-event authority to represent or speak on behalf of Final Three Con.
  • Volunteers may not determine or enforce violations of Final Three Con rules or policies. Final authority rests with the Leadership Team.

Brand, Scope & Intent

Unauthorized individuals may not use Final Three Con’s name, logo, branding, titles, badges, or communication formats in a way that implies authority or official representation.

Content creator partners and other explicitly authorized partners may use Final Three Con provided materials and may accurately reference their affiliation solely for the duration and scope of their authorized partnership. Such use does not grant authority to speak for, act on behalf of, or make decisions for Final Three Con.

This policy applies to all environments, including in person, online, social media, private messages, and third-party platforms.

Community Participation & Sharing

This policy does not restrict normal attendee participation or community support.

Attendees are welcome and encouraged to:

  • Say they are attending Final Three Con
  • Share photos, videos, and personal experiences from the event
  • Post on social media in support of the convention
  • Tag Final Three Con and use official hashtags
  • Describe their experience as an attendee, volunteer, guest, or partner accurately

This policy applies only to claims of running, organizing, representing, or conducting work or business on behalf of Final Three Con or Final Three, LLC.

Enforcement

Violations will result in immediate action, which could include removal from events or community spaces, revocation of convention badges or credentials, prohibition from future Final Three Con events, public correction of false claims, and legal action when necessary to protect the organization, its reputation, and its community.

Misrepresentation is determined by behavior, not intent. Good intentions or attempts to “be helpful” do not excuse violations.

Final Three, LLC retains sole discretion over authorization, interpretation, and enforcement. Authorization may be revoked at any time. This policy may be updated at any time.

If you have questions about this policy, need to verify whether someone is authorized to act on behalf of Final Three Con, or need to report suspected unauthorized representation or business activity, please contact hello@final3con.com
