Data protection
In line with UK GDPR legislation, the details you provide will remain secure and confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of our organisation without your prior consent, unless it is deemed there is an immediate risk to your own safety or the safety of others. For full details, please see our Alef Trust Privacy and Data Protection Policies.
By joining Nurturing the Fields of Change, you confirm your agreement to the following:
- You understand that your participation is subject to your acceptance of Alef Trust’s terms and conditions as outlined here.
- You accept that if you do not fully comply with these terms and conditions, Alef Trust reserves the right to cancel your participation at its sole discretion.
- You agree that Alef Trust may record and process your information for statistical and administrative purposes in accordance with UK GDPR legislation.
Programme delivery
- Alef Trust will make reasonable efforts to deliver the programme as described in the promotional materials. However, these materials are not intended to be definitive descriptions of all resources and facilities.
- All participants will have access to the Nurturing the Fields of Change collaborative learning environment on the Sutra platform (www.sutra.co). Alef Trust undertakes to provide the necessary resources and support for participants to engage with the programme. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they access these resources as appropriate.
- Participants will be required to set up a free account with Sutra and will be added to the Nurturing the Fields of Change private circle. If any technical difficulties arise with the Sutra platform, Alef Trust will liaise with Sutra support to resolve them. However, ultimate responsibility for technical issues with the platform rests with Sutra.
Community guidelines
- Nurturing the Fields of Change is a closed and respectful community. Participants’ usernames and passwords are for their use only and must not be shared. Access is conditional upon the participant conducting themselves with respectful and supportive behaviour towards other members of the community and group processes.
- Alef Trust is fully committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community. However, we reserve the right to remove any participant whose actions negatively impact the community in ways that we are unable to overcome. Our resources are dedicated to maintaining a nurturing space for all; if we determine that we cannot adequately address an individual’s needs alongside those of the broader community, we may decide to terminate their participation. We recognize and ask participants to recognise that the relational container we offer for this collective journey may not be suitable for everyone at every stage of life.
- Participants take full responsibility for their involvement, well-being, and personal development. They commit to taking care of their emotional needs in appropriate and healthy ways, seeking counsel when needed. Participants understand that the role of programme facilitators is not to offer therapeutic support and that it is their responsibility to seek professional help if necessary.
- All session links and recordings shared on our community platform on Sutra are private. Participants agree to not circulate session links or recordings with anyone else or on any other platforms.
- Alef Trust cannot take any responsibility for the results of participants’ actions. Participants are expected to use judgment and act with due care when implementing any plan or practice both during and after this programme.
- Participants understand that this programme does not confer qualification as a facilitator.
- Alef Trust will not be liable for any loss claimed to be suffered by the participant as a result of the programme or in the case of the programme being discontinued.
