So it looks like the crosspost from Dreamwidth didn't work, long story short, we put up with a lot of changes on this platform, and not all for the better, such as the change in ToS that threatened to remove as much LGBTQIA+ content as possible, which thankfully didn't seem to happen. We've had repeated password breaches over the time I've been on LJ (about 17 years with general fandom, writing and sock accounts), DDoS attacks, R*ssian ads all over the place which sometimes even showed with a paid account to name a few. The political situation atm is the final straw for a lot of people, and the time has come to move to a non R*ssian site.

I will keep this journal open as an archive for my fics - which is 99% of my content anyway - and for the time being use as a resource for comms, challenges, tracking kink memes etc. If I can do all of that on DW (where comms have the same content) then I'll reconsider keeping this journal open.
