Visit West Belfast

Visiting West Belfast

Belfast (or BéalFeirste to give it its Irish name) is Ireland’s second city and is unlike any other place on this Island. Ask anyone about Belfast and they’ll tell you which part of it is the most bustling, happening and vibrant. Without a doubt, it’s the West!

Known throughout the world as a hotbed of political invention and a platform for social progress, West Belfast is now a must-see destination for any visitor.

There is plenty to do and see during your time in West Belfast, from the Peace Wall which is located between the Falls Road and the Shankill Road to Clonard Monastery and the many colourful murals which tell stories about the history and people of West Belfast.
