Spring seems to have bloomed suddenly while I was still dreaming of blue-cold days:

It can be so gloomy in the Pacific Northwest—but how quickly that fades with the first buds and blossoms:

I wonder what this Spotted Towhee thinks of it all:

On a hillside not far from home, a little meadow covered with snowdrops:
