I am having one of those weeks where I am being crowded out of my own head by the clamour of memories, both old and new.

I've changed the style/layout/theme/whatever of my journal, as I've had the same thing since I created it, not to mention having the same style on the lj I had prior to this one. And after quite a bit of tweaking, I am really quite pleased with it, although they need a more diverse range of music-based themes, I think. Still, beggars can't be choosers.

There are hailstones outside. Hailstones. And thunder. In July! And yesterday I popped down the road to buy some tropical juice and on the way back got absolutely soaked, completely and utterly, by the sudden cloud burst.

Anyway, the best part of that article is the following -

"The Church of England took a different stance to the Met Office as to cause of the floods — senior bishops said that the severe weather were a consequence of the West’s decision to ignore the Bible.

The church leaders emphasised that while the seven people who died were innocent victims, it was man-made climate change and an “arrogant” world “reaping what we have sown” that had caused the disasters of the past week."

God, seriously, one of these days I will come home from a night out to find that for once I have not lost an article of clothing, or inadvertently stolen someone else's as a substitute.

There are nothing like nice dreams. I always wish you could decide what you were going to dream about.

I wonder how many lj entries I have started typing but ultimately abandoned before posting, by now?

I really, really need to organise my music. It's about half organised and the rest is chaotic.

I suspect that I should be a little less open about how lazy I am, with regards to work.

Also, I am really cold. Naieela informed me she has a little heater. I want a little heater. I need a little heater.


And to, you know, stop eating ice-cream when I'm cold.
