These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fantasy Engine website, software, services, APIs, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing, accessing, or using Fantasy Engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. About Fantasy Engine
Fantasy Engine is a software and technology platform that provides:
- Fantasy competition software
- Software licensing
- Managed infrastructure services
- Optional sports data API and integrations
Fantasy Engine does not:
- Operate fantasy contests or leagues
- Operate betting or gambling services
- Act as a payment processor
- Interact with or manage end users of client platforms
Fantasy Engine provides technology only.
Clients are solely responsible for how their platforms are configured, operated, and monetized.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal capacity to enter contracts
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
By using Fantasy Engine, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity conducted under your account
- Ensuring your use of the Services complies with applicable laws
Fantasy Engine is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
4. License & Access
Your access to Fantasy Engine is governed by the License Agreement associated with your purchased package, including but not limited to:
- Web Only license
- Full Source Code license
- Managed Infrastructure subscription
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Fantasy Engine.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Fantasy Engine to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Operate illegal fantasy, betting, or gambling services
- Misrepresent Fantasy Engine as a contest operator
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Reverse engineer or resell the software beyond license terms
Fantasy Engine reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Sports Data & API Services
Fantasy Engine may provide access to sports data APIs through third-party sources.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Sports data is provided “as is”
- Data accuracy, completeness, and availability are not guaranteed
- Fantasy Engine does not own or control the underlying data
- Data is provided for fantasy and informational purposes only
Fantasy Engine is not liable for decisions made based on sports data.
7. Betting, Gambling & Compliance
Fantasy Engine provides technology only.
If you enable features related to:
- Entry fees
- Rewards
- Predictions
- Outcome-based mechanics
You are solely responsible for:
- Legal compliance
- Licensing requirements
- Age restrictions
- Responsible operation
Fantasy Engine does not provide legal advice or regulatory approval.
8. Managed Infrastructure Services
For Managed Infrastructure packages:
- Infrastructure may be hosted on client-owned or third-party cloud providers
- Fantasy Engine manages deployment, updates, and technical maintenance
- You retain ownership of platform data and content
Fantasy Engine does not guarantee uninterrupted service and is not responsible for third-party hosting failures.
9. Payments & Fees
All fees are:
- Clearly disclosed at the time of purchase
- Billed in advance where applicable
Fantasy Engine reserves the right to:
- Update pricing
- Modify packages
- Introduce new fees with reasonable notice
10. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the Services:
- All sales are final
- No refunds for licenses, source code, API access, or activated services
Exceptions may be made at Fantasy Engine’s sole discretion where required by law.
Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate payments
- Failure to deliver service due to our fault
11. Intellectual Property
Fantasy Engine retains all rights, title, and interest in:
- Software
- Trademarks
- Branding
- Documentation
- APIs
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
12. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party providers including:
- Hosting providers
- Payment gateways
- Sports data providers
Fantasy Engine is not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or uptime
Use of the Services is at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fantasy Engine shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
Fantasy Engine’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fantasy Engine from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your platform operations
- Legal or regulatory violations
- End-user disputes
16. Suspension & Termination
Fantasy Engine may suspend or terminate access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Payment obligations are not met
- Required by law or regulation
Upon termination, licenses may be revoked according to their terms.
17. Modifications to Terms
Fantasy Engine may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles.
