Our Programs

FACES serves San Francisco communities through three channels: childcare, workforce development, and family support services. All three programs work together to holistically support families. In FACES’ annual survey, 84% of parents/caregivers reported that their family’s overall stability improved because their child is safe, nurtured, and supported at FACES.

CHILDCARE:

Our Child Development Program provides subsidized early childhood education at three sites: Masonic, Hayes Valley, and Bayview. We serve infant, toddler, preschool, and K-6th grade age groups. We also manage a Family Child Care Network of nearly 40 licensed home-based providers across San Francisco who offer care for infants and toddlers.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:

Our Workforce Program, based in Visitacion Valley, connects adults to meaningful employment opportunities by providing training, barrier-removal, referrals, and job readiness and placement services, as well as ongoing coaching support.

FAMILY SUPPORT & WELLNESS:

Our family support services are offered across each of our four centers. Our offerings include mental health services, support groups, parent educational workshops, and referrals to available community resources.
