Extract Link 3.0 is the latest version of this shareware utility by Spadix Software. We can purchase and/or download the evaluation version available from the developer's website and try it free of charge. Its installation is very easy and requires no registration or entering our personal data, e-mail address or similar. Extract Link gives us the opportunity to search and extract links from many different file types. When opening the New Search option, we can enter a file name or select it from anywhere within our computer, external or removable devices. We will be able to select the following extensions: HTM/HTML/CGI/ASP/PHP/STM/SHTML/SHTM/PHP3. We can also enter the type of link we prefer, such as custom text, file://, http://, ftp://, gopher://, https://, news, telnet, phone, wais, fax, mailto: , mailto: + @, and Custom text (link text or search text).It is possible to search for links inside archives with these extensions: zip, ace, lha, rar, tar, arc, bh, cab, gzip, jar, arj, zoo. From the Option Tab, we can remove duplicate results, base, bookmark part, parameter part, check domain list, and search for first entry only. It will be possible to exclude text or file, and include keyword, and select file size. The results will be presented and we can manage them in several ways (save, compare, delete, export, find). It runs under the following operating systems: Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, XP, and Vista.
