❓Account & Data Deletion Guide

Thank you for playing EXTOCIUM.
In accordance with Google Play Store policies and our Privacy Policy, here is the guide on how to request the deletion of your account and personal data.

1. Request Account Deletion In-App (Recommended)

If you can access the game, the fastest and easiest way to delete your account is from within the app.

  • Step 1: Tap the [Settings (Gear icon)] on the in-game Main HUD.
  • Step 2: Tap the [Delete Account] button in the settings menu.
  • Step 3: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your account deletion.

2. Request Account Deletion via Email (If app access is unavailable)

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot log in, please send us an email using the format below to request account deletion.

  • To: extocium@extocium.com
  • Email Subject: [EXTOCIUM] Account Deletion Request
  • Required Information:
    • In-game Nickname or UID:
    • Email address used for login:
  • (Note: For your security, we will never ask for your password. Please do not include it in your email.)
  • Processing Time: Once we receive your request, the deletion process will begin within 3-5 business days. We will send you a confirmation email once it is completed.

3. Data Deletion & Retention Policy

When your account is deleted, your data will be handled as follows:

  • Deleted Data: Account information (e.g., Firebase Auth), all gameplay data, and character information.
  • Deletion Timeline: All game data will be permanently destroyed from our servers 7 days after the deletion request. (Data cannot be recovered during or after this period).
  • Retained Data: In compliance with relevant laws (such as the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce), payment and in-game transaction records will be retained for 5 years before being destroyed. This data is kept strictly for legal compliance and dispute resolution purposes.

4. ⚠️ Important Notice (Additional Steps Required)

  • Canceling Subscriptions: Deleting your EXTOCIUM account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions made through the Google Play Store. To avoid future charges, you must manually cancel your subscription before deleting your account by going to Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions.
  • Once the deletion process is fully completed, your previous account and game data cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
