Summer Field Trips

We visited industry partners Bison and Powell with our students, giving them firsthand experience in the dynamic Trucking & Logistics field. They had a great time and learned a lot about the industry.

Be part of our Program:

TBDC is partnering with the Toronto District School Board for a field trip under the Employability and Workforce Program to introduce students to careers in Skilled Trades and the Trucking industry.

We're seeking support of companies to tackle the labor shortage by hosting our students for a day and offering them a chance to learn about the industry by:

  • Giving them a tour of your facility
  • A short presentation about your operations
  • Tour of Trucks, cranes or anything exciting
  • Day in the Life: Truck Driver or Skilled Worker Tutorial
  • Snacks, juices or fruits
