We offer an overnight kids camp experience each July for children between the ages of 7 to 13. Each year we center our camp program on a VBS theme that we thread through the week both spiritually and recreationally.
Our program consists of daily activities such as swimming, canoeing, sports, crafts, and a daily main event. A main focus of our program is to encourage spiritual growth with God by teaching biblical principles and bible stories in small groups (e.g., cabin devotions, bible lessons) and large group settings (e.g., chapel services).

The Pathfinders are just beginning their adventure, blazing new paths in their faith. The first few years at EBC focus on building a solid foundation of faith in a fun and engaging way, helping young campers take their first steps on their spiritual journey. With activities like Bible storytelling, crafts, and outdoor games, Pathfinders learn that Jesus is the way, showing them the path to follow.
Trailblazers are ready to explore the deeper truths of God’s Word. Campers in this group begin to understand that Jesus is not just the way but the truth. They’ll engage in more challenging Bible studies, team-building exercises, and interactive adventures. Through these activities, campers will begin to understand how their faith shapes their actions, both at camp and
in their everyday lives.
Navigators are at the age where their faith begins to feel real and personal. This group sets out on a quest to explore not just the world around them, but the deeper life that Jesus offers. They’ll learn that Jesus is the life—full of purpose, direction, and meaning. During the week of camp, Navigators/Voyagers begin to navigate the decisions that will shape their lives in Christ.

All staff members fill out a detailed staff application form. Valid references are included and checked. Staff over 18 are required to provide a vulnerable sector screen
During the week of camp, we have a designated Camp Nurse that stays on site for the duration of camp. The Camp Nurse must be trained in Standard First Aid + CPR- C. We often have a certified Registered Nurse as the designated nurse for the week of camp. The Camp Nurse is familiar with all camp medical needs. They are the first person of contact for medical needs and emergencies. When
registering for camp, parents/guardians give authorization for the camp nurse to provide over the counter medications for campers on a needed basis. Camper and staff medications are stored in the Medical Nursing Station for the duration of camp. The Camp Nurse will contact parents/guardians for medical needs or emergencies.
Each camp week has approximately 40 campers in attendance.
Most campers will sleep on a bunk bed. We have 3 rooms dedicated for female campers and 3 rooms dedicated for male campers. Each cabin can fit about 8 campers. Most campers sleep in the main building. Usually only our oldest male camper group sleeps in the outside cabin closest to the barn. 2 Counsellors sleep in the cabin with campers for the duration of camp.
Mandatory hand washing occurs before and after all meal times, and frequently throughout the day. Campers have scheduled time for morning and evening hygiene (e.g., brushing teeth). Pathfinders and Trailblazers have showers every other day, and our oldest group, Navigators have a scheduled shower time every day.
There is a designated Head Counsellor. The Head Counsellor will often meet with your child first to help them cope with their homesickness. The Head Counsellor provides a safe space for your child to share their feelings. The Head Counsellor will encourage your child to write a parent/guardian a letter or draw a picture for their parent. The Head Counsellor will then email you the letter/picture after. It is frequently our best practice to wait to have campers call their parents when feeling homesick. Oftentimes, a camper becomes more homesick once they speak with their parent/guardian.
No. We will provide you with two phone numbers to reach EBC during the duration of camp.
We do our best to make daily posts on social media during camp to keep parents informed of activities. We provide parents with a parent package that provides details about what is happening at camp each day. After camp, EBC sends out an online photo album that captures highlights of the week.
We provide balanced home cooked meals that include a mix of fruits, vegetables, protein and dairy products. Breakfast meals include toast, jam, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, yogurt and eggs. Lunch and Dinner meals during the week include pasta, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, rice pilaf, and soup. All meals are cooked by a team of volunteers. We are able to accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free food needs. Other dietary needs need to be approved by the Head Cook.
Grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and experience God in new and meaningful ways.
