Group FAQs

• What is considered a group?

  Groups are considered anyone with 15 or more people who are paying on one ticket. Examples of groups are teams, clubs, Scout troops/packs, large family/friends attending together, etc.

• Do groups get discounts?

  Yes, if the group is 15 or more and they pay on one ticket receive a discount on admission. Contact us for more details!

• Do groups need reservations?

  Groups smaller than 50 people do not need to call ahead and can receive the discount when checking in. Group discounts apply to 15 or more people paying on one ticket.

  For groups larger than 50 people, please use the group visit request form to let us know what day you will be visiting and if you have any special requests or needs.

  Group rates are available any day/time that the museum is open.

• What happens when groups arrive?

  Please check in at the front ticket counter. We will help you process payment, including any applicable discounts, at that time.

• What food options does Exploration Place offer?

  Exploration Place’s Snack Lab is a great option for cold drinks, snacks, pizza, salad and more. The best way to accommodate a group is by scheduling your meal ahead of time. We’ll be happy to help you do that! Fill out the group visit request form to get started.

  Outside food and drink are welcome. Please be aware that there is not any storage or storage lockers available inside the building. If someone in your group wants to run out to a vehicle to retrieve lunches, that is not a problem. Just have them touch base with the front desk before they exit and when they re-enter.

  There may be limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Can someone in our group leave and then re-enter?
