Susan Misner is an American actress, and dancer. Her roles include the series One Life to Live, Jonny Zero, Starved, Night Stalker, Conviction, Vanished, Rescue Me, The Bronx Is Burning, Gossip Girl, New Amsterdam, In Treatment, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, I Just Want My Pants Back, The Americans, Nashville, Billions, Shut Eye, Fosse/Verdon, God Friended Me, Jack Ryan, FBI: Most Wanted, Étoile, and Sheriff Country; and the films Pipe Dream, Chicago (2002), Something’s Gotta Give, The Forgotten (2004), Alchemy (2005), Mentor, Two Weeks (2006), Gigantic (2008), Tanner Hall, Hope Springs, Being Charlie, Assassination Nation, Summer Days, Summer Nights; and Homestead. She has also been billed as Susie Misner.

She was raised in Pompton Plains, Pequannock Township, New Jersey.

Susan’s paternal grandfather was Earl H. Misner (the son of Tunis John Misner and Cordelia Esther Secord). Earl was born in Burnwood, New York, and had deep roots in the U.S. Tunis was the son of John Gorton Misner and Arrietta Stickles. Cordelia was the daughter of Joshua Secord and Sarah Ann Rhead.

Susan’s paternal grandmother was Anna Adams (the daughter of Albert Marvin Adams and Edna Mary Kneer). Anna was born in Dayton, Ohio. Albert was the son of William Ezekiel Foster Adams and Emma Alice Lacey, and had deep lines in the U.S. Edna was the daughter of Frank Kneer, Jr., whose parents were German; and of Cecelia Leroy.

Susan’s maternal grandfather was Archie Clarence Roney (the son of Clarence Francis Roney and Ida Rivenburg). Archie was born in Lake Como, Pennsylvania, and had mostly deep American roots. Susan’s great-grandfather Clarence was the son of George Francis Roney, whose father was Irish; and of Nettie Amelia Miner. Susan’s great-grandmother Ida was the daughter of Fredrick Rivenburg and Claracy Sheldon.

Susan’s maternal grandfather was Doris Irene Fischer (the daughter of Frederick Charles Fischer and Lillian P. Eberlein). Doris was born in Autumn Leaves, Pennsylvania. Frederick was the son of John William Fischer and Sophia Regina Belkey, who were born in Pennylvania, both of them to German parents. Lillian was the daughter of William Carl Eberlein, who was German; and of Dora Daya Forester, whose grandparents were all German.
