Lukas Gage is an American actor. His roles include the series Tagged, American Vandal, Euphoria, Love, Victor; The White Lotus, Angelyne, You, Fargo, Dead Boy Detectives, and Overcompensating; and the films Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, Wyrm, Into the Dark: Midnight Kiss, Moonshot, How to Blow Up a Pipeline, Parachute, Down Low, which he also co-wrote; Road House (2024), Smile 2, and Companion.

He was raised in Encinitas, California.

In his autobiography, I Wrote This for Attention, 2025, page 292, Lukas writes of his father:

Watching him massage his temples, I noticed how much he looked like me, just more visibly Jewish. You look at me, you think WASPy Karate Kid villain. You look at him, you think Jewish kid from New York who went to Cornell at fourteen. Yet tucked inside those blaring contrasts, you can’t ignore the fact we’re leaves on the same tree.

Referring to getting a cross tattoo in honour of his deceased friend, Tessa, Lukas writes, on page 225:

I don’t think I understood the contradiction of being Jewish with a cross on me, but I digress!

Lukas’s paternal grandfather was Emmett Miller (the son of Herbert Jerome Miller and Frances Joy Smith). Emmett was born in New York. Herbert was born in New York City, New York, the son of Louis Miller, who was a Russian Jewish immigrant; and of Clara Halpern, whose parents were Russian Jews. Lukas’s great-grandmother Frances was born in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Polish Jewish parents, Morris/Maurice Harris Smith and Lena Oshinsky, who were from Suwalki, Bialostockiego, with Russian Jewish, German Jewish, and Lithuanian Jewish ancestry further back.

Lukas’s great-grandfather Harry was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Harry Francis Lally, whose paternal grandparents, and mother, were Irish; and of Catherine Frances McEvily, whose grandparents were also Irish, with at least partial roots in Mayo. Lukas’s great-grandmother Rose was born in New York, the daughter of Russian Jewish parents, Morris/Hyman Cohen, from Lomza, and Rachael/Rachel/Ray Charzas/Rosler.

Lukas’s maternal grandfather was Fred Almeto Vinyard (the son of Fred Almeto Vinyard and Marian/Marion Yvette Laffoon). Lukas’s grandfather Fred was born in Los Angeles, California. Lukas’s great-grandfather Fred was born in Carterville, Jasper, Missouri, the son of Jesse/Jessy Patterson Vinyard and Sarah Jane Evans. Marian was born in Los Angeles, the daughter of William Clark Laffoon and Nina DeEtta Andrews.

Lukas’s maternal grandmother was Gloria Lee Wittman (the daughter of Xavier Wisz/William Wittman and Pauline Clair Taylor). Gloria was born either in California or at sea. Xavier was born in Cynthiana, Harrison, Kentucky, the son of August Paul Wittman, whose father was German; and of Adelene/Adelia Ann “Annie” Thompson. Pauline was born in Melbourne, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of Paul Taylor and Mary Pettemore/Pattemore.
