Durry is a brother-sister indie rock band, constisting of Austin and Tary Durry, from Burnsville, Minnesota. They are known for their song “Who’s Laughing Now.”

Durry’s paternal grandfather was John Joseph Durry III (the son of John Joseph Durry II and Victoria Elizabeth Woodhead). Durry’s grandfather John was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Durry’s great-grandfather John was of half Scottish descent. Victoria’s parents were from England and Wales, respectively.

Durry’s paternal grandmother was Jeannine Fay Cahill (the daughter of William Joseph Cahill and Cecilia Sofia Kirsch). Jeannine was born in Fowler, Indiana. William was born in Illinois, to second-generation Irish immigrants. Cecilia was born in Texas, and was of German, as well as one quarter Luxembourgish, descent.

Durry’s maternal grandfather was Thomas LeRoy Howey (the son of Charles Garland Howey and Vida Mae McCumsey). Thomas was born in Alzada, Montana. Charles’s father was of English descent, while his mother was of half Irish and half German ancestry.

Durry’s maternal grandmother was Delena Marie Exner (the daughter of Bernard Sylvester Exner and Rose Schlosser). Delena was born in Edgeley, North Dakota. Bernard’s father was Austrian, born to parents from Nový Maletín, Czechia and Vienna, Austria. Bernard’s mother was born in Minnesota, to a family of Scottish and German heritage. Durry’s great-grandmother Rose was born in North Dakota, to Alsatian parents, from Bessarabia.
