EMPI ENGINE BATTLE SYNOPSIS

EMPI will conduct an engine build / dyno challenge open to US based EMPI dealers in good standing that have purchased EMPI parts in the previous 12 months

Using specified EMPI components, and other parts of their choice, competitors will build a naturally aspirated Type 1 engine to deliver maximum HP on a Stuska 800 engine dyno.

The EMPI Engine Battle will be conducted on a regional basis with Eastern, Central and Western competitions; dealers’ physical business location will determine the region they will compete in.
Regional winners and first runners-up will qualify for the EMPI Engine Battle Championship to be held at the EMPI Open House in Anaheim, CA on June 15th 2024 and all competitor engines will be on display for 3500 Classic VW enthusiasts to see!

Cash prizes will be awarded at each regional competition and the Champion will receive the following:

Confirmed Competitors announced on or around February 14, 2024 across all EMPI social media channels.
Western Regional Competition: on or around June 11, 2024
Eastern Regional Competition: on or around June 12, 2024
Central Regional Competition: on or around June 13, 2024
