Με την εγκατάσταση του ACS Points Plugin στο e-shop σας δίνετε την επιλογή στους πελάτες σας να παραλάβουν την ηλεκτρονική παραγγελία τους εύκολα και γρήγορα από ένα ACS Smartpoint Locker ή από ένα κατάστημα ACS.

Ειδικά με τις «έξυπνες» θυρίδες ACS Smart Point, το συνεργαζόμενο ηλεκτρονικό κατάστημα παρέχει στους πελάτες τους τη δυνατότητα να παραλάβουν την παραγγελία τους οποιαδήποτε ώρα ή ημέρα επιθυμούν (24/7), από το κοντινότερο ACS Smartpoint Locker, με τη χρήση ενός μοναδικού κωδικού (PIN) που έχουν λάβει στο κινητό τους. Παράλληλα, οι πελάτες-παραλήπτες έχουν τη μοναδική δυνατότητα – για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα – πληρωμής της ηλεκτρονικής παραγγελίας τους με αντικαταβολή στο POS του locker, χρησιμοποιώντας την τραπεζική τους κάρτα (Visa, Mastercard).

Επίσης, μεγάλη σημασία έχει δοθεί στην ασφάλεια των θυρίδων, καθώς τα ACS Smartpoint Lockers διαθέτουν σύστημα συναγερμού και φωτισμό LED, ενώ η παραλαβή της παραγγελίας γίνεται χωρίς ανθρώπινη επαφή, που επιτρέπει στους παραλήπτες να είναι ασφαλείς, ακόμα και σε δύσκολες υγειονομικές συνθήκες, όπως αυτές της πανδημίας του COVID 19.

I was surprised to see that this plugin is developed by Aftersalespro — whose main app I use to create all my shipping labels and absolutely love. Unfortunately, this plugin is the complete opposite: poorly developed and a constant troublemaker. No proper pricing options: For shipments to Cyprus there’s no way to adjust the shipping cost (which is obviously higher than domestic shipments within Greece). Plugin conflicts: It often conflicts with other plugins, and as a result the shipping fee is simply not calculated in the total order — which means free shipping for the customer! Bad customer experience: I’ve had to contact my customers many times after checkout, asking them to pay the missing shipping cost. Not cool, not professional. ACS should really come up with a serious, properly tested WooCommerce plugin for point-selected shipments if they want to be considered a serious partner. 👉 My advice: Don’t add this plugin to your store. It will only give you headaches.

This plugin needs more work. All it does is allow a customer to choose a locker at checkout. That’s it. It needs to: override the default WooCommerce shipping address on-screen and order emails with the ACS points ID number, name and address. Currently the only way to find this information is in the order. The email that gets sent shows the customers home address as the shipping address. When an order has been completed it should send the information to connect3 web interface in order to set up the shipping label. Currently you have to copy paste all the details over. Ideally the plugin should email the shipping label automatically as the ‘new_order’ email received by admin/shop manager. The shipping label should be customisable so that it can be printed on A4, A5 or even a 80mm thermal printer roll.
