I made some pie. I cheated and used an all-natural graham cracker crust 'cause I didn't have 4 hours to kill making the crust. -shrugs- Besides, what makes the pie in my opinion is the kickass filling. :D
Anywho, I made two of 'em separately so of course it took me three hours total. The occasion? My supervising teacher's B-day is tomorrow. Some other teachers were like "I'd be intimidated to cook him anything because his wife is such an awesome cook!" I'm like, I know, but they gave me free foods for Christmas Break. Delish! :D So, yeah.
Also, my meringue never comes out perfectly. I always wonder what I'm doing wrong. It has more the consistency of shaving cream than the delicious stiff-peaked mountains of edible cloud heaven. Suggestions?

"I'm doing great!! Thanks for asking! <3" And go on my way. If they continue, I ignore them. :) Usually the shock of that response is enough to throw people's train of thought off track. |D

What is your favorite opening line of a book, and why?
Favorite? This one: "If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book." aka Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. XD
How do you feel about standardized tests? Do you think they accurately indicate a student's knowledge or ability?
The only thing they're good at is showing who regurgitates information best. They just aren't very good at getting a well-rounded picture.
When, if ever, is it okay to snoop on your significant other? Have you ever?
If you don't trust them enough, then I say your relationship is doomed. Your insecurity will tear the relationship apart. I suppose if there's some real cheating going on or something, then you'll find out in other ways, not just through one's significant other.
And, no. It may seem stupid or naive but I utterly trust my wife. I trust her to be responsible and be aware of my feelings if she's out and about. It sounds like I'm a forgiving person, but I'm not. I'm extremely possessive and can hold a grudge for a very long time. :)
