We are committed to provide quality education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, fostering innovation, practical skills, and industry readiness for a successful career
Our Goal
The goal of the EEE Dept is to produce skilled engineers with strong theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and the ability to innovate in the fields of power, electronics, and telecom.
Credit Hour
Three credit hours are assigned to a theory course if there are three hours lecture in a week. A class period for theory course will have a duration of 90 minutes. One credit of lab course will have a minimum of 2 hours of actual lab works in a week.
Degree Requirment
Completion of minimum 144 credit hours.Passing of all courses individually and maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

Welcome to the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB)!
Since its inception in 2003, the EEE Department has evolved into one of the most dynamic and leading departments at GUB, proudly hosting over 1000 students and 35+ dedicated faculty members. From the very beginning, our mission has been to deliver quality education and foster a vibrant learning environment that nurtures innovation, technical excellence, and ethical responsibility.
We are equipped with modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a thoughtfully designed OBE-based curriculum that aligns with the latest industry trends and global technological advancements. Our curriculum emphasizes four core areas: Power and Energy, Electronics, Telecommunications, and Computer Engineering. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, our students are also engaged in industry attachment programs, gaining hands-on experience and real-world exposure.
Our faculty members are at the heart of this growth. They are not only passionate educators but also renowned researchers whose work is recognized globally through publications in prestigious international journals and conferences. They are continuously trained in modern teaching methodologies, ensuring our students receive the best possible guidance and mentorship.
