Educators Rising is cultivating a new generation of highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path from high school through college and into their teaching careers. By working with aspiring educators who reflect the demographics of their communities and who are passionate about serving those communities through public education, Educators Rising is changing the face of teaching.

Grow your own programs offer a unique way to build district teacher pathways. Programs with clinical experience training and opportunities like Educators Rising encourage students to explore teaching in high school and be inspired to come back to the classroom after college, providing a long-term solution to teacher shortages in your district.
According to a 2020 study by George Washington University, 60% of Educators Rising students reported an increased interest in teaching after participating in the program. Your students can, too. We can’t wait to add your high schoolers to the ranks of education majors wanting to change the world through teaching.
Educators Rising offers three unique programs to create a Grow Your Own initiative in your district:
| Educators Rising Curriculum | Educators Rising Teaching Fundamentals | Educators Rising Microcredentials |
|
A streamlined, classroom-ready, co-curricular career and technical education pathway, the Educators Rising Curriculum is a set of guided lesson plans emphasizing the fundamental teaching practices critical for high school students to develop as they take their first steps on the path to becoming accomplished professionals. The curriculum consists of PowerPoint lessons that can be implemented during classroom instruction time or during a meeting after school. |
Built upon six key modules from the Educators Rising Curriculum, Teaching Fundamentals introduces students to the education profession and builds interest in an Education & Training program while encouraging a standard of excellence. |
A tool to showcase your student’s successes and help their collegiate aspirations, Micro-credentials are performance-based assessments that allow rising educators to prove their growing skills. Upon completion of each micro-credential, students earn a digital badge to showcase on their professional profiles. |
